Saíram
nesta quinta-feira (13) os indicados à 69ª edição do Emmy, maior premiação de TV de Hollywood. O anúncio das nomeações
foi feito pela atriz Anna Chlumsky
(“Veep”) e pelo ator Shemar Moore (“Criminal Minds”), representando a Academia de Artes e Ciências
Televisivas dos Estados Unidos.
Em
um ano sem “Game of Thrones” por
conta do período de elegibilidade – só podem concorrer séries e temporadas
exibidas nos Estados Unidos entre 1º de junho de 2016 e 31 de maio de 2017 -,
alguns destaques nas categorias principais ficaram por conta de “Westworld” (olha aí a HBO não
decepcionando), concorrendo em 22 categorias no total – algumas são melhor
série de drama, melhor atriz em série de drama (Evan Rachel Wood), melhor ator em série de drama (Anthony Hopkins), melhor atriz
coadjuvante em série de drama (Thandie
Newton) e melhor ator coadjuvante em série de drama (Jeffrey Wright), por exemplo.
“Feud: Bette and Joan” está disputando
melhor série limitada, melhor atriz em série limitada (Jessica Lange e Susan
Sarandon), melhor atriz coadjuvante em série limitada ou filme feito para
TV (Judy Davis e Jackie Hoffman) e melhor ator
coadjuvante em série limitada ou filme feito para TV (Alfred Molina e Stanley
Tucci).
Big Little Lies, também da HBO, concorre em categorias como melhor série
limitada, melhor atriz em série limitada (Nicole
Kidman e Reese Witherspoon),
melhor atriz coadjuvante em série limitada ou filme feito para TV (Shailene Woodley e Laura Dern) e melhor ator coadjuvante em série limitada ou filme feito
para TV (Alexander Skarsgard).
“The Handmaid’s Tale”, série novata,
chegou com tudo, sendo indicada em melhor série de drama, melhor atriz de drama
(Elisabeth Moss), melhor atriz
coadjuvante de drama (Samira Wiley e
Ann Dowde) e melhor atriz convidada
em série de drama (Alexis Bledel).
“Stranger Things” é outra produção muito
indicada, como por exemplo em melhor série de drama, melhor atriz coadjuvante
em série de drama (Millie Bobby Brown),
melhor ator coadjuvante em série de drama (David
Harbour) e melhor atriz convidada em série de drama (Shannon Purser). “This Is Us”
não fica de fora, disputando melhor série de drama, melhor ator de drama (Sterling K. Brown e Milo Ventimiglia), melhor atriz
coadjuvante de drama (Chrissy Metz)
e melhor ator coadjuvante em série de drama (Ron Cephas Jones), entre outras.
Além
disso, Carrie Fisher, falecida no
fim de 2016, foi indicada de forma póstuma na categoria de melhor atriz
convidada em série de comédia por “Catastrophe”.
O Emmy 2017 será exibido no dia 17 de
setembro e terá como apresentador Stephen
Colbert, âncora do programa “The
Late Show with Stephen Colbert”.
